Short version
We collect nothing. We don't track behavior. We run no servers of our own, keep no accounts, and use no analytics. The only network the app ever uses is Apple's App Store, to complete a purchase you choose to make. Your wheels live on this device and never leave it.
What we collect
- Nothing. No name, no email, no phone, no address, no birthday. No account is required, and no usage data is ever sent anywhere. The app contacts Apple's App Store only to handle a purchase you choose to make — that carries no information about you or your child.
What we don't collect
- Personally identifiable information from anyone.
- Location data.
- Photos. (If you choose one of your own photos as a wheel's background, the app keeps a copy on this device only — with its location and camera metadata removed — and never uploads it anywhere.)
- Voice recordings. (The app doesn't record audio.)
- Behavioral profiles of you or your child.
- Anything advertisers would pay for.
Where your data lives
- This device. Your saved wheels and kid profiles are stored locally using Apple's SwiftData.
- Our servers. We don't have any. Zoya's Wheel runs on-device; the only network it uses is Apple's App Store, for an optional one-time purchase.
Third parties
- None. Zoya's Wheel uses no non-Apple services and bundles no third-party SDKs.
We do not use any third-party advertising network. We do not use Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Facebook SDK, or any behavioral profiling toolkit. No generative AI runs in the app, and nothing is ever sent to an AI service. The one piece of machine learning we use is Apple's on-device word model, which suggests an icon as you type a wheel — it runs entirely on your device, on words you type (never on your child's behavior or any saved data), and sends nothing anywhere.
Children's privacy
Zoya's Wheel is designed for children aged four and up under the Kids Category on the Apple App Store. We comply with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation, including the UK Age-Appropriate Design Code, and we honor Apple's Declared Age Range API for state age-assurance laws as they take effect (Texas now; Utah, Louisiana, Alabama, and California's device-age-signal law phasing in through 2027). We do not collect personal information from children. The app is free with six ready-made wheels and the coin; one optional in-app purchase ($2.99, one-time, no subscription) unlocks making your own wheels and using your own photos. That purchase — and every link that leaves the app and grown-up-only setting — sits behind a parental gate. Apple processes the purchase; we never receive payment details and still store nothing off your device.
Your rights
Because we don't collect personal information, there is no profile to access, edit, or delete from our systems. Because we run no servers and collect nothing, removing your data is simple: uninstall the app, or use Settings → Reset all data (parental gate required).
Data retention
We keep no data on our own systems, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Anything created in the app stays on your device until you remove it — by deleting an item, using Settings → Reset all data, or uninstalling the app.
Changes
If we ever change this policy, we'll update the date at the top and post the change here at least 30 days before it takes effect. The app will not transmit any new category of data without your explicit consent.
